Multiple Actions and Out-Of-Turn Defences

No clue how to do this in a simple, clean way yet; will need to playtest some ideas.

Firearms - Semi-auto, Burst Fire and Autofire

Semi-auto: Takes one action to fire one shot, and can shoot a number of times in a turn up to the weapon's RoF. A hit does damage normally.

Burst Fire: Takes one action to fire one three-round burst at one target, at a -1 skill step penalty. This can be done a number of times in a turn up to the weapon's RoF. A hit does damage with a +2 step bonus.

Autofire: The shooter takes one action to make one Easy attack roll to spray the target area, which uses up ten rounds; this is the only attack action that can be made with the weapon being used in that turn. Potential targets in the area must make an Average defence roll or take damage normally.

Firearms - Shotguns

When firing shot:

  • damage is d10 W at close and short range, d6 W at medium range and d4 W at long range.

  • range penalties are halved to -1 skill step at medium range and -2 skill step at long range.

When using solid slugs, damage is not reduced and the normal range penalties apply.
